Savannah Province has worked for over a decade in elementary schools, inspiring many of her character's traits.
She also claims numerous little family members, including ten nieces and three nephews, who bring her joy and inspiration. Her niece Madalyn illustrated Big Changes for Emma Hope.
She lives with her husband and young child in Columbia, Missouri.
